I am a certified Somatic Therapist trained by Bodynamic international (where the field of somatic experiencing got its start). With over 20 years of experience in the healing arts, I focus on the interplay between pain, trauma, stress, and emotion, supporting clients in understanding the body as a personal encyclopedia—where every symptom and sensation is a message worth listening to.
My curiosity about how physical patterns express emotional history was born out of decades working with clients as a Registered Massage Therapist and Kinesiologist both in the USA and here in Canada. The body is a deeply therapeutic language, one that speaks to the nervous system, our emotions, and even our greater purpose.
In my sessions, I help clients reconnect with their own inner resources, develop body awareness, and cultivate a sense of safety and wholeness. I use various somatic or guided body-based inquiry during an appointment. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that true healing occurs when body, heart, and mind are brought into alignment.
I offer a compassionate, grounded space where you can slow down, listen inward, and move toward greater ease, vitality, and freedom—one breath and one inquiry at a time. As a somatic practitioner, I create safe space and brave space for the body to feel seen, held, and heard.
